PCS Joins The BTG Family

Brighton Technologies Group is excited to welcome Pager Call Systems to our organisation

Pager Call Systems Limited Joins the Brighton Technologies Group Family.

Brighton Technologies Group PTY LTD acquires 100% control of Pager Call Systems Limited in a deal that sees Pager Call’s founder, Chris Hawkins, retire from the business. The move brings Pager Call Systems into the BTG family, strengthening long-standing ties between the two organisations and positioning the combined group to accelerate growth across the UK and Europe.

Founded in 2008 and located in Northampton (UK), Pager Call Systems has been closely aligned with BTG for several years, supporting organisations across hospitality, industry, healthcare, and other sectors with solutions designed to improve the customer experience, streamline operations, and enhance internal communications. With the acquisition now complete, PCS has gained direct access to BTG’s broader resources, engineering capability, and long-term product roadmap—creating new opportunities to expand service capability and bring enhanced solutions to the UK market and across Europe.

Darren Brighton, CEO, Brighton Technologies Group, said:

“This is an exciting time for both BTG and PCS, and the extra value we can now bring to our customers based in the UK and Europe is huge. By joining the BTG family, Pager Call Systems is in a stronger position day to day — customers still get the same local UK support they rely on, but now it’s backed by greater resource and capability from the wider group. In practical terms, that means quicker access to new solutions, closer ties to product development, and an even sharper focus on helping our customers improve the efficiency of their operations. I have worked with Chris Hawkins for a number of years and I would like to thank him for his work in building PCS and setting the high standards they are renowned for. I would like to wish Chris all the best for the future and a happy, long retirement.”

Andon Digital Alert: Revolutionising Production Communication

Streamline Communication With Andon Digital

The PCS Andon Digital Alert system is used to improve communication and efficiency in production and warehouse environments. Here’s why it’s beneficial:

  1. Quick Issue Resolution: Operators can immediately alert the relevant team when an issue arises, leading to faster identification and resolution of problems.
  2. Reduced Downtime: By addressing issues in real-time, the system helps prevent delays and reduces the time machines or processes are inactive.
  3. Increased Productivity: With issues being flagged quickly, workers can resolve problems more efficiently, keeping operations running smoothly and maintaining high output levels.
  4. Empowered Employees: Operators have a direct way to communicate issues, giving them a sense of responsibility and control over the production process.
  5. Better Monitoring and Data: Andon systems can provide valuable insights into recurring issues, helping to pinpoint areas for improvement and streamline processes.
  6. Customisable Alerts: You can tailor the system to suit your specific needs, allowing for more precise notifications and responses.

Overall, an Andon system promotes smoother operations, boosts overall productivity, and helps maintain a more efficient and responsive work environment.

The Andon Digital Alert system is designed to streamline communication in production and warehousing environments, ensuring that issues are quickly identified and resolved. By offering operators a simple, intuitive method for alerting the right team or individual, the system helps minimise downtime and enhances productivity.

The system consists of touch screen buttons that can be configured to notify specific personnel, pinpointing the location and nature of the issue. The alerts are sent to wireless smart receivers, keeping staff informed with real-time updates like “Machine Station Four Quality Issue” or “Area Ten Parts Required.”

Andon Digital takes the old fashioned Andon light system to the next level offering full alphanumeric alerts directly to the correct staff for instant response.

Installation is simple, with options for Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity, and full on-site training is provided for seamless integration into any facility. Additionally, the system is highly customizable, with adjustable button labels, colours, and messages to suit varying operational needs.
