Each user is assigned their own username and password for login to the messaging desktop where they can easily send messages to any staff member or staff groups.
Users can customise their own screen with canned messages and user groups as required.
With the SMS Text Message option messages can be sent to individual or groups of mobile phones.
Should a staff member require the facility to send messages to groups of parents these can be arranged in to groups & sub groups for easy access.
School Lockdown Alerts
School lockdown and critical alerts can be sent to all staff members in bulk from any PC ensuring all staff can activate the appropriate procedure. As well as sending critical alerts to school pager the system can send messages to mobile phones both on and off the site via SMS and email where required.
Events That Potentially Could Trigger Lockdown Alerts
Intruder On Site (with potential to pose a risk to staff and pupils in the school)
A reported incident /civil disturbance in the local community (with the potential to pose a risk to staff and pupils in the school)
A warning being received regarding a risk locally, of air pollution (smoke plume, gas cloud, chemical or biological contaminants)
A major fire in the vicinity of the school
The Close proximity of a dangerous dog roaming loose
